One Direction’s latest song ‘Steal My Girl’ has leaked, but their fans certainly aren’t complaining.
Their debut single, which wasn’t supposed to be released until tomorrow, leaked this morning, causing 1Directioners to get the hashtag #LiamThanksForStealMyGirl trending on Twitter.
It is believed that Liam Payne may have been behind the song’s early debut as it’s said Liam has leaked unheard songs to One Direction’s fans in the past. So it really wouldn’t be that surprising.
For the fact that ‘Steal My Girl’ is being released tomorrow, the song won’t face any damage in terms of sales or copyright. Had the track leaked a week early, then that would’ve been a different story.
Nevertheless, Niall, Liam, Harry, Zayn and Louis seem to have another hit on their hands. As the song’s name started trending on Twitter, receiving instant social media interest, it’s fair to assume the track will chart extremely well.
‘Steal My Girl’ marks as the debut single off of the groups’ fourth studio album ‘Four’ which hits stores in November, just weeks after they plan on releasing their ‘One Direction: Where We Are’ tour footage at local theaters.
With all the success they’ve had in recent years, the fact that they are bringing out a new album, a new concert film, and a catchy new single, One Direction are definitely owning the fourth quarter of the year in the music industry with so much new material.
‘Steal My Girl’ debuts just days after it was rumoured Liam Payne’s nude photos had leaked, allegedly showing the singer in bed with another man.
Perhaps Liam dropped the single a day early to stop the speculation on his supposed nude photos?
