French Montana lost out on joining ‘Love & Hip Hop’ to film Khloe Kardashian’s ‘Hamptons’ reality show, it has been revealed.

The mediocre rapper was set to join the Hollywood cast of VH1’s famous program but had to ditch the offer at the last minute as Khloe had him sign a deal to star on her E! reality show, which is set to air next month.

Obviously French Montana is hating himself for having turned down VH1 seeing that they were reportedly offering double of what he was making per episode on ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons’.

Reports suggest that it wasn’t so much for the money at the time. French decided to do Khloe’s show because they were dating at the time, and the publicity on having him on there would mean the ratings would probably be higher too.

The funny thing about it all is that Khloe Kardashian ended up dumping her rapper beau right after filming had finished, leaving Montana fuming, a source said.

“French wasted half his summer in the Hamptons for Khloe’s ridiculous show, and embarrassing himself. He was really looking forward to starring on Love & Hip Hop, he loves the show and knew it would help out his brand,” the insider dished.

Love & Hip Hop is a much bigger franchise than the Kardashian shows, gaining up to 4 million viewers an episode whereas ‘Keeping Up’ usually gets around 2.1 million.

A lotta viewers means a lotta money. Too bad that French Montana will be missing out on those cheques.

“Now, he lost the deal all together because Khloe can’t make up her mind about whether or not she should divorce Lamar or be with him. French doesn’t want Khloe back, he wants her to fulfill her end of their agreement so he can be on Love & Hip Hop.”

But with executive producer Mona-Scott Young constantly changing up the cast for more drama, it’s still likely that French could join the show from season 2 that begins shooting next summer.

Ain’t it funny how French Montana honestly believed the relationship between him and Khloe was actually going to last.

Heck. Even Stevie Wonder saw this split coming.
