With her troubled experience when it comes to boyfriends, Taylor Swift has admitted that she’s unsure whether or not she’ll have children — ever!
The singer, who is gearing up to promote her latest album 1989, is covering the latest issue of ‘InStyle’ where she shocked her fans by admitting that children may not be something she’ll ever have the experience of giving birth to.
“I don’t know if I’ll have kids,” she told the magazine.
“It’s impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies.”
Her excuse for not having children is a little pathetic.
She’s reasoning her point by saying she fears they won’t have a normal life due to the constant paparazzi attention Taylor is surrounded by on a daily basis.
Well then how does Blue Ivy manage to hardly ever be seen in public.
It’s all about choice — whether you want your child to have the private life or not. Taylor could simply move out of New York or Los Angeles and relocate to Nashville where she’ll never be stalked by the photographers or have to deal with any kinds of shenanigans.
Her comments on being unsure on whether she’ll ever become a mother in the future shouldn’t be that shocking seeing that she recently told another publication that she’s definitely not looking to find love anytime soon.
It’s believed that her last romance to Harry Styles was enough to make her feel some sort of way about men in general.
Having had several mishaps in relationships, there’s a sense that Taylor Swift isn’t rushing for anything right now. She’s strictly focusing on her music career and making the most out of this moment.
Though her comments on having babies are something we don’t reason with, we’d assume she’s only saying this because she hasn’t found ‘the one’ guy that she can see herself settling down with yet.
Besides, she’s still young. There’s no rush.
“I’m too young to get married. Not agewise, but I know myself, so why try to meet someone right now when I know I’m too young to do something serious?” she concluded.
