The famous singer-songwriter Michel’le is taking all steps to clear rumors and misconceptions about her alleged past relationships. Recently Michel’le and her ex-husband, Dr Dre, were in news regarding the biopic on Dr Dre’s life. He had openly apologized for being abusive towards women in the 90s.
Dr Dre had recently apologized for physically abusing ex-wife Michel’le during their years of companionship. He stated that he is a changed man now and repents whatever wrong he had done during his years of immaturity. Going ahead, Michel’le decided to clear the misconceptions about her past relationships, with the help of the debut of Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le, which happens to be her biopic.
Huffington Post reported that the film, which starred Rhyon Nicole Brown as Michel’le, Curtis Hamilton as Dr Dre, Jamie Kennedy as Jerry Heller and R. Marcos Taylor as Suge Knight, will portray Michel’le’s journey in the music industry right from the beginning and also reveal about her abusive relationship with Dr. Dre.
Michel’le, who is well-known for her hit numbers No More Lies and Something In My Heart, speaks on how the abusive relationship with Dr Dre led her to substance abuse. The film revealed about her problematic relationship with Dr Dre’s then business partner, Marion Suge Knight.
The singer expressed that the N.W.A’s biopic gave her a chance to speak about her story. Michel’le is obliged and thankful for the project, in which she gives an appearance as the narrator. She further admits that it was painful to watch her character face substance and physical abuse.
Michel’le has two kids, a son with Dre and from Knight, a daughter. In an interview, recently, Dr Dre had apologized openly for abusing his former wife. His biopic had omitted the mention of the abuse and so created a stir. As a reply to that biopic, Michel’s biopic shows the exact picture of everything that happened back then between the now-estranged couple.
