The Castlevania Netflix voice cast has recently been revealed on Adi Shankar’s video on Youtube. The show’s producer and Dracula voice actor revealed the actors who will lend their talent in the Castlevania Netflix show. Its cast is mostly star-studded as Hollywood actors that appeared in shows and films like Orphan Black and The Hobbit will voice the cast.

As seen on Adi Shankar’s video, both Castlevania producer Adi Shankar and the show’s Dracula voice actor Graham McTavish briefly talked about the Castlevania voice cast. Most of the Castlevania Netflix characters are from the Castlevania 3: Dracula’s curse video game.

  • Richard Armitage (Thorin Oakenshield, The Hobbit) – Trevor Belmont
  • James Callis (Dr. Gaius Baltar, Battlestar Galactica) – Alucard
  • Alejandra Reynoso (Flora, Winx Club Series) – Sypha Belnades
  • Emily Swallow (Amara, Supernatural) – Lisa Tepes
  • Matt Frewer (Dr. Aldous Leekie, Orphan Black) – The Bishop
  • Tony Amendola (Gepetto, Once Upon a Time ) – The Elder

Save for Sypha Belnades’ voice actress, most of Castlevania’s voice cast are live series actors. Most of these actors have lent their voices to non-live action series like narration, animated films, and video games. The series is mostly safe from seasoned Hollywood actors but inexperienced with voice work.

Konami’s Castlevania series story tells humanity’s repeated struggle against Dracula as he keeps returning from the dead. Dracula’s appearance means that vicious monsters will roam the world unless he is stopped. The Belmont family is known to have the “Vampire Killer” whip that can kill Dracula again.

The whole Castlevania series features generations of Belmonts and other characters capable of stopping Dracula every time he shows up again. It’s unknown how much of the Castlevania Netflix series will borrow its story from Konami’s video game series.

The Castlevania Netflix series will start this coming July 7. The voice cast reveal can be seen in the video below. You can also watch the first teaser trailer here.
